How to Roast Turkey in an Electric Roaster Oven

Make the perfect turkey for Thanksgiving dinner in your electric turkey roaster! This method has a shorter cook time and the results are a juicy and tender turkey.

Ingredients

For The Herb Butter – butter – parsley – salt

Take the inside pan out of the roaster and put the lid on it, preheat it to 450° for 15 minutes while you prepare the turkey.

Mix the softened butter with fresh parsley, salt and pepper.

Remove the bag of giblets from the cavity and reserve if you plan on using it to make gravy.

3.

Place it breast side up on top of the rack in the roasting pan. Pat the skin dry with a paper towel, do NOT wash the turkey.

4.

Sprinkle salt and pepper in the cavity, then place the onion, carrot and celery in the cavity as well.
