- 1/2 pound ground pork sausage
- 1/2 cup chopped apple
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 2 cans biscuits 6 ounces, 5 biscuits each
- melted butter
Preheat oven to 400°. Spray a rimmed sheet pan with cooking spray.
In a medium skillet cook pork, apple, onion and celery over medium heat until pork is brown and apples, celery and onion are tender, 8 - 10 minutes.
Roll each biscuit into a 4 1/2" to 5" round. Place about 2 tablespoons of sausage apple mixture onto half of each rolled biscuit. Fold over filling and press edges with a fork. Place on baking sheet and bake 12 - 15 minutes or until golden. Brush with melted butter after they come out of the oven.
