- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 1 cup celery, chopped (about 2 stalks)
- 1/2 cup cheese chunks
- 3 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
- 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Cook macaroni for the minimum amount of time specified on the package. Drain and rinse with cold water.
In a small bowl mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, sugar, pepper, and salt until combined. Set aside.
In a large bowl combine the macaroni, cheese chunks, celery, and onion. Add the sauce and stir to combine.
