All you need are Brussels sprouts, apples, olive oil, salt and pepper to make this quick, easy and delicious recipe for Burnt Brussels Sprouts and Apples.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 1 apple
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°.
  • While the oven preheats trim the ends off the Brussels sprouts and cut in half or quarters, if they are very large. Chop the apple.
  • Spray a 10 X 15 X 1 sheet pan with cooking spray. Spread the Brussels sprouts and apples in a single layer. Drizzle with with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper; toss to coat. Roast for 25-30 minutes or until very brown.
