- 1 can cream of potato soup 10.5 ounces
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 cup onions
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheese divided
- 1 package frozen hash browns 32 ounces
Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9″ X 13″ baking dish with cooking spray.
In a large bowl combine the melted butter, soup, sour cream, onions, black pepper and 1 1/2 cups of cheese. Fold in the hash brown potatoes. Pour into prepared casserole dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 – 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly and the edges just begin to brown.
Let set for about 5 minutes before serving.
