Air Fryer Roasted Peppers and Chile Peppers

Ingredients

  • 2 bell peppers

or

  • 3 Ananheim Peppers

Instructions

  • Wash peppers and dry with a paper towel.
  • Spritz the air fryer basket with a little olive oil or cooking spray. 
  • After the peppers are tender place them in a vessel and cover with a lid for 10 minutes so the skin peels off easily.

For bell peppers

  • Cut in half through the stem then remove the stem, membrane and seeds.
  • Place bell pepper halves into the air fryer basket cut side up in a single layer and cook at 400° for 7 minutes, turn over and cook an additional 6 minutes.

For chile peppers

  • Place whole peppers into the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook at 400° for 10 minutes, turn over and cook an additional 6 minutes.
  • After steaming the peppers peel off skin, cut in half and scrape out the seeds using a spoon.
