Creamy White Chicken Chili
Creamy White Chicken Chili combines chicken, white beans, green chiles, broth, sour cream and spices to make a quick and comforting dish.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup onion
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 2 cans chicken broth 14.5 ounces each
- 2 cans white beans 15.5 ounces each, rinsed and drained
- 1 can green chiles 4 ounces
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 cups cooked chicken
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high, saute onion and garlic until onion is translucent, about 4- 5 minutes.1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 cup onion, 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- Add chicken broth, beans, green chiles, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper; bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer for about 10 minutes .2 cans chicken broth, 2 cans white beans, 1 can green chiles, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Add chicken and cook over medium heat for another 5 minutes.4 cups cooked chicken
- Stir in sour cream and milk and heat through, about 2 or 3 minutes.1 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup milk
Notes
If using uncooked chicken - use 2 or 3 chicken breasts cut into cubes and cook it with the onion and garlic until the chicken is no longer pink, then proceed with the rest of the recipe.
