BBQ Chicken Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce or to taste

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch, and season with garlic and onion powder, salt and black pepper.
    1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Heat the oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, for 6–8 minutes, until lightly browned and cooked through.
    2 teaspoons olive oil
  • Pour in the barbecue sauce and cook for another 2–3 minutes, stirring often, until the chicken is fully coated and the sauce is heated through.
    ½ cup barbecue sauce

Notes

We like our chicken bites extra saucy, so I use about ½ cup of barbecue sauce (I don't usually measure it). If you prefer them a little less saucy, feel free to use less.
