Homemade Guacamole Recipe (no cilantro)

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • 1 small jalapeño
  • 1 small Roma tomato

Instructions

  • Prep the vegetables. Chop the onion, jalapeño, and tomato. Zest the lime.
  • Mash the avocados. In a medium bowl, mash the avocados with a fork along with the lime juice, lime zest, and salt until you reach your desired consistency.
    3 ripe avocados, 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, 1 teaspoon lime zest, ½ teaspoon salt
  • Finish the guacamole. Stir in the tomato, onion, and jalapeño until well combined. Taste and adjust the salt or lime juice, if needed.

This recipe makes about 2 cups, or 8 (¼-cup) servings.
