- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup onion half large
- 1 cup celery about 3 stalks
- 1 1/4 cup carrots about 5 medium
- 3 cloves garlic
- 10 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cup pastina
- 3 cups cooked chicken

Get Recipe Ingredients
Dice onion, celery and carrots. Chop garlic.
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, celery and carrots and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
