Matcha Tea Latte - hot or iced

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons sugar

Instructions

Hot Matcha Latte

  • Sift matcha powder into a small bowl.
  • Microwave water in a microwave safe jar for 30 seconds. Add the matcha powder and sugar, put the lid on it and shake vigorously until the sugar and powder have dissolved; pour into a coffee mug.
  • Warm milk in the microwave for 1 minute.
  • Pour the hot milk and matcha mixture in the coffee mug, stir, and enjoy!

Iced Matcha Latte

  • Sift matcha powder into a small bowl. 
  • Microwave ¼ cup water in a microwave safe jar for 20 seconds. Add the matcha powder and sugar, put the lid on it and shake vigorously until the sugar and powder have dissolved. 
  • Pour into a tall glass, add the remaining ¼ cup of water and milk, stir until mixed and then add ice.
