Vodka Sauce Baked Ziti Recipe

This Vodka Sauce Baked Ziti is creamy, cheesy, and seriously comforting. It’s made with just a handful of ingredients—like creamy vodka sauce, ricotta, and fresh mozzarella. Ingredients

  • 3 cups ziti
  • 1 jar vodka sauce 24 oz
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 16 ounces mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375° and spray a 9" X 13" casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Cook pasta al dente according to the package directions, usually around 10 minutes. 
  •  While the pasta cooks, grate the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses and chop the parsley.
  • Mix 1 ½ cups vodka sauce, ricotta cheese, egg, parsley and ½ of the mozzarella cheese together in a large bowl. 
  • Add the hot pasta and stir until combined. 
  • Pour the pasta mixture into a prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining sauce, remaining mozzarella, and parmesan cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Gently stir the pasta into the sauce to keep it from breaking into small pieces.
Prep time includes cooking the pasta, so there’s no need to add extra time for that step.
