Our Cake Mix Cookie Bars are irresistibly delicious and incredibly easy to make! With just 4 simple ingredients—a box of cake mix, two eggs, butter, and a bag of chocolate chips you can whip them up in no time for the perfect quick dessert. These cookie bars are versatile and can be customized by changing the cake mix flavor and add-ins. The possibilities are endless!

Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix 13.25-15.25 ounces
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 bag chocolate chips 11.5 ounces
  • nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° and spray a 9" X 13" baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Melt butter in microwave, or on stove-top in a small saucepan over low heat. 
  • In a large mixing bowl combine cake mix, eggs, and melted butter. Fold in chocolate chips. 
  • Press into prepared pan and bake 16-19 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
  • Cool completely before cutting and removing from the pan.
