Cheddar Cheese Herb Heart Smart Scones

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups Heart Smart Bisquick
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon parsley flakes
  • ½ teaspoon dill
  • 1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl mix the Bisquick, cheese, parsley, and dill until well combined.
  • In a small bowl mix the yogurt and egg until well combined.
  • Pour the yogurt mixture into the Bisquick mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Turn out onto a lightly floured surface, knead 4 or 5 times. Place on baking sheet and pat out to a 9-inch round. Spray a knife with cooking spray and cut into 8 wedges, do not separate.
  • Bake for 11-14 minutes or until golden.

Notes

These scones can be cut into 8 to 12 pieces, depending on how large you want them.
