In a large bowl cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars until fluffy with electric mixer or paddle attachment on a stand mixer. Beat in vanilla and eggs until combined, add flour mixture and beat until well incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips.
¾ cup butter, ½ cup crunchy peanut butter, ½ cup sugar, ½ cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 3 eggs, 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes and then move to a wire rack.

You can use creamy peanut butter or any other nut butter you like! I used a large cookie scoop. If you want your cookies to look as beautiful as these you will have to put some of the chocolate chips on the tops of the cookies before you put them in the oven. That’s the trick, don’t mix them all into the batter, reserve some and place them on the top by hand.
