Ingredients

  • 6 slices sourdough bread
  • 6 tbsp pizza sauce
  • 6 tbsp cheese
  • your favorite toppings

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°.
  • Spread sauce evenly over the bread.
    6 slices sourdough bread
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
    6 tbsp pizza sauce
  • Add the toppings.
    6 tbsp cheese
  • Bake for 10 minutes. 
    your favorite toppings

Notes

You only need a few pieces of each topping per slice—just enough to give it flavor without weighing it down.
Want extra toasty pizza bread? Give the bread a drizzle of olive oil and toast it in a skillet before adding your toppings and baking. It adds great flavor and a deliciously crispy base!
If you want the cheese and toppings to brown a bit you can pop it under the broiler for a minute or two. I don't do that for mine, I don't need that kind of pressure.
