Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • dash nutmeg
  • 1 Loaf Texas toast 15 slices
  • Butter

Instructions

  • Heat griddle or large skillet over medium heat.
  • Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a shallow dish.

  • Place bread into the custard mixture, flip over and coat the other side. Cook on a buttered preheated skillet or grill pan 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
