This Creamy Marry Me Chicken Soup is hearty and comforting and comes together in about 30 minutes. Just like the traditional Marry Me Chicken, it’s made with tender chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, pasta, and spinach in a flavorful broth with cream and Parmesan cheese.

What Makes This Soup So Good?
This Marry Me Chicken Soup has one of my favorite flavor combinations with the chicken, pasta, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach. The heavy cream and Parmesan cheese make the broth rich and creamy, while the sun-dried tomatoes add so much flavor.
It’s hearty enough to be a meal on its own, and I love that it comes together in about 30 minutes. It’s perfect for a busy weeknight when you want something warm and comforting without spending hours in the kitchen.
I’ve also made Creamy Chicken and Gnocchi Dinner and Tuscan Chicken Ravioli that have similar flavors, so check those out too!
Ingredient Notes
See the recipe card for exact ingredient amounts.

- Chicken: I use boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces. You can use chicken thighs if you prefer.
- Pasta: We like bronze-cut pasta, so I use orecchiette, but any short pasta shape works well.
- Sun-dried tomatoes: Look for the kind packed in oil with Italian herbs. They come julienned, but I like to cut any large pieces into smaller pieces.
- Onion: I use an inexpensive yellow onion, but white or red onion will work too.
- Cheese: Freshly grated Parmesan cheese is classic in this dish, and that’s what we use.
- Creamy broth: The broth is made with chicken broth and heavy cream.
- Spinach: Fresh baby spinach wilts right into the hot soup.
- Seasoning: Garlic, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper make a flavorful broth.
