    Simple Peach Cranberry Crumble

    Simple Peach Cranberry Crumble is the perfect winter dessert!

    This dessert is sweet, tart, and has a delightful spiced crumble top. It is very easy to make and perfect for the holidays.

    Simple Peach Cranberry Crumble features canned peaches and fresh cranberries, topped with a wholesome spiced cinnamon oat crumble and baked to perfection!

    My favorite way to show family and friends how much I appreciate them is by cooking and baking for them. So far, I have not had any complaints about the gifts I give.

    Lee especially loves that I will make him food for holidays, his birthday and other special occasions.

    Simple Peach Cranberry Crumble features canned peaches and fresh cranberries, topped with a wholesome spiced cinnamon oat crumble and baked to perfection!

    How to make Simple Peach Cranberry Crumble:

    • Prepare an 8″ X 8″ casserole dish by spraying it with cooking spray.
    • Drain two 15.25 ounce cans of sliced peaches.
    • In a medium bowl mix the peaches, 1 cup cranberries, ¼ cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon.
    • Stir in 3 tablespoons cold Hiland Butter, cut into cubes.
    • Pour fruit mixture into prepared casserole dish.

    Make the crumble top:

    • Mix 1 cup old-fashioned oats, ¼ cup flour, ¼ cup brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice in a medium bowl with a fork.
    • Add 6 tablespoons cubed Hiland Butter and mix with clean hands until crumbly. Pour over fruit mixture and bake at 350° for 30 – 35  minutes or until golden.
    • Serve topped with Hiland Butter Pecan Ice Cream.

    I prefer to use Hiland products in baking, and when looking for the prefect ice cream to top my creations I can always count on Hiland to have the perfect flavor.

    Take this Butter Pecan Ice Cream for example, it goes perfectly with this crumble.

    Have you ever tried Hiland flavored milk? Oh my goodness, they have seasonal flavors such as Snickerdoodle, Sugar Cookie and Pumpkin Spice. They are delish!

    Ingredients
      

    For the fruit mixture:

    • 2 cans sliced peaches 15.25 ounces each
    • 1 cup fresh cranberries
    • ¼ cup sugar
    • 2 tablespoons flour
    • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
    • 3 tablespoons cold Hiland Butter cut into cubes

    For the crumble topping:

    • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
    • ¼ cup flour
    • ¼ cup brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
    • 6 tablespoons Hiland Butter cut into cubes and softened
    • Hiland Butter Pecan Ice Cream

    Instructions
     

    For the fruit mixture:

    • Preheat oven to 350°. Spray 8" X 8" casserole dish with cooking spray.
    • Put drained peaches into a medium bowl. Add cranberries, sugar, flour and cinnamon; stir to combine. Mix in Hiland Butter. Pour into casserole dish, set aside

    For the crumble topping:

    • Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice together with a fork in small bowl. Add Hiland Butter, use clean hands to mix until crumbly. Spread over fruit mixture; bake 30 – 35 minutes or until golden.
    • Top with Hiland Butter Pecan ice cream (or your favorite Hiland flavor).
