If you are looking for a delicious burger to make this grilling season then you have to try this Avocado Ranch Grilled Burger!!
Avocado Ranch Grilled Burger features a 1/3 pound burger grilled to perfection, topped with a smooth and creamy avocado ranch sauce and served on a soft and delicious Pepperidge Farm® Bakery Classics Onion Hamburger Bun with Poppy Seeds.
We love grilling! The thing we like most about grilling is how fast we can get a meal on the table.
Most of the time we either make our side dishes ahead of time or serve sides right from the store, such as potato chips or raw fruits and veggies.
This makes meal time super quick and easy, and I am definitely on board with that.
We also Respect The Bun® by taking help from Pepperidge Farm® when it comes to buns. Did you know that Pepperidge Farms® is versatile for any recipe and is always baked the right way with special touches and a wide variety of flavors? They have six different kinds of hamburger buns and side and top-sliced hot dog buns. I chose to use Pepperidge Farm® Onion Hamburger Buns with Poppy Seeds for this particular hamburger, but you could certainly use your favorite!
I’m sure by now you are wondering what the six varieties are, aren’t you? The Pepperidge Farms® Bakery Classics buns include:
- Soft White Hamburger Buns
- Sweet & Soft Hamburger Buns
- Sesame Topped Hamburger Buns
- 100% Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns
- Golden Potato Hamburger Buns
- Onion Hamburger Buns with Poppy Seeds
Changing buns, condiments and toppings is how we keep our hamburgers and hot dogs interesting. There are so many great combinations and we are constantly trying new ones as a way to mix things up. We also grill all year-round by using our cast iron grill pan in the winter, when it rains, and when it is too windy to cook-out. We have many windy days (even in the summer) here in Kansas, so we had to come up with a plan B for when we want grilled hamburgers and/or hot dogs but can’t get it done outdoors.
For this Avocado Ranch Grilled Burger recipe I chose to make a semi-homemade Avocado Ranch Sauce. I grew up in California and I love to put avocado on or in just about anything. I call this sauce semi-homemade because I use the packaged dry ranch dressing mix (any brand will do). It is super easy to whip up and makes enough to use on these burgers plus have some leftover.
Light Potato Salad or Macaroni & Cheese Salad would be great make-ahead dishes to go with this burger.

Super delicious!
Thanks!
Avocado ranch! Fuggedaboudit, this will be tried! We make our own ranch seasoning sometimes we mix it into the burger itself but… I can’t wait to introduce it to avocado. Onion bun- is there any other kind? Yes, you made that clear but in my eyes onion bun is the only one!
I think you can mix ranch into just about anything, right?! Thanks
These look gorgeous and I love the avocado in the sauce!
Thanks! We just love them at our house.
That looks like a wonderful summer meal! The dressing looks silky and creamy…totally right up my alley.
Thanks so much Angie!
