Have you ever used Kraft Caramel Bits? They are so tasty and perect for my Easy Caramel Pecan Blondies.

When I first used them I wondered if they would just melt into nothing. Well, they didn’t. They stay in perfect shape.

If you look closely in the photos of the cut blondies you can actually see them! They are pretty awesome.

I’m not sure how they will work in cookies, but they are great in these Easy Caramel Pecan Blondies and other recipes that bake for 20 minutes or longer.

The website has some unflavorable reviews warning against using them in cookies. I guess I’ll have to give them a try.

    • Preheat oven to 350°. Brush the bottom and sides of a 9-inch by 13-inch baking pan with melted butter.

Great ingredients. Followed easy directions to a T. Took 36″ in an accurate oven.Caramel (cool) stuck to my buttered non-stick pan like glue. Practically needed a crowbar to get them out. Tasty, but sticky, chewy and messy to eat. Disappointed

Hi Jane, thanks for trying the recipe and for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. I’m sorry they stuck to the pan. I had the best results by generously brushing the pan with butter before adding the batter, and there’s also a video in the post showing how they turned out. I appreciate you giving the recipe a try and hope you’ll have better luck if you decide to make them again.

These look fabulous! I’m not much of a chocolate fan, so I’m always looking for desserts with other ingredients. I’m totally going to make these soon.
